Kanye had this cover created, by world renowed graffiti artist KAWS, for the ITUNES and Christmas packaging of 808's & Heartbreak. KAWS is a New York based artist and designer who has done work in Paris, London, Berlin ant Tokyo. He also participated in commercial collaborations with Nigo for A Bating Ape, and sneakers with Nike and Vans. Through all of his projects, KAWS has successfully blurred the line between fine art and mass-produced merchandise. 808's & Heartbreak in stores Monday, November 24th, 2008. This cover is available for the ITUNES release and will be in stores December 16th, 2008 for the Christmas packaging.
