This recession is hitting us all where it hurts, even the once balling, Death Row Records co-founder Marion "Suge" Knight is grabbing at straws. Suge  recently filed for bankruptcy, and this summer, he had to sit idly by while his company's assets were sold at auction. So what is the badboy of gangsta rap to do?

According to TMZ, Knight is blaming rapper/producer, Kanye West for the loss of a 15-carat diamond stud earring that was stolen from him three years ago. Knight is alleging that West's lack of security at an MTV pre-party in 2005 allowed someone to smuggle a gun into Miami's Shore Club and shoot him in the leg, according to the lawsuit filed on September 12th.

Knight requests that the earring either be returned or replaced, as he has been "deprived of the use and enjoyment of the earring" since the August 2005 incident.
